Born from a love for tinkering and discovery
PCL Sales began with a childhood fascination for what makes things tick. From exploring the inner workings of family appliances – much to the GPO's potential dismay – to a deep admiration for the engineering prowess of my late step-father, the seeds of curiosity were sown early. Growing up surrounded by an almost endless wealth of engineering experience and a garage that doubled as a 'playroom' of innovation, the drive to understand and improve was infectious.
From car boot sales to a thriving market presence
When it came time to clear out my step-father's treasure-filled workshop, taking a few bits to the local car boot sale at Cheddar was the natural first step. What started as a way to help mum quickly evolved. I discovered a joy in meeting people, chatting with fellow traders, and finding new homes for interesting items. Soon, I was sourcing new products, transforming a weekend hobby into a properly registered, fully insured, part-time business. We've grown from the family car to needing a van and a double pitch at the Sunday market, and now, we're expanding online to reach even more of the UK Westcountry.
