Understanding our ordering and collection process is straightforward. Here are answers to some of the most common questions you might have about buying from PCL Sales.

How do i place an order and what's the process?

The process from inquiry to invoice is simple:
1) Customer sends requirements, including delivery post code if not collecting, via our website or Facebook.
2) We check stock, confirm availability, and provide a price.
3) Customer replies to confirm the order is correct and agrees to the price.
4) An invoice is sent to the customer by email with a payment link (unless an alternative payment method is agreed upon).
5) Customer makes payment.
6) Item(s) dispatched, tracking details shared with the customer, and receipt issued by email.

What are my delivery options?

You can choose between postage or collection. For postage, we always aim to offer this as reasonably as possible, typically using Royal Mail for their insurance and tracking. If you have a preference for a specific postal service, please let us know. Collection is available from Weston-super-Mare or Cheddar by prior arrangement.

What should i know for collecting my order?

To ensure a smooth collection, we'll need to agree on a specific location (Weston-super-Mare or Cheddar), a date, and an approximate time. Upon arrival, you will only need to confirm your name and the item(s) you are collecting. This applies to both home collections and pick-ups at the Sunday market.

Can I choose a specific postal service?

While Royal Mail is our first preference due to their insurance and tracking, we are flexible. If you have a preferred postal service, please inform us when you place your order, and we will do our best to accommodate your request, offering postage as reasonably as possible.

What payment methods do you accept?

For postal sales, once you agree on the price, we'll send an invoice with a payment link, or you can pay via PayPal or Bank Transfer. For collections, we accept cash, most major credit and debit cards (including Apple & Google Pay), PayPal, or bank transfer. Please note, we do not accept postal orders or Moneygram / WesternUnion type transfers.

Do you accept cheques as payment?

We prefer not to take cheques. However, if you have no alternative, items can only be collected or posted once the cheque has fully cleared. We appreciate your understanding, as this helps us avoid losses and keep our prices competitive as a small business.

Why aren't certain payment types accepted?

To protect our small business from potential losses and ensure we can continue to offer the best possible prices on our tools, gadgets, and toys, we do not accept postal orders or Moneygram/WesternUnion type transfers. We focus on secure and reliable payment methods.

Where can i collect my order from?

You can collect your order from Weston-super-Mare or Cheddar. All collections are by prior arrangement to ensure convenience for both parties. You might also find us at the Sunday market where you can collect if arranged beforehand.
